The Abilities Connection (TAC) offers a range of personal, vocational, and social services to people with disabilities. Each service is personally tailored to complement the specific needs, interests, and desires of the individual.
The names, locations, and staff at TAC have changed over the years, but focus remains on providing life-changing experiences to the people we serve. We believe that individuals thrive in a nurturing, respectful, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. This provides the foundation for independence, autonomy, and a strong sense of worth.
Bridging Abilities is a partnership between TAC and schools in the Miami Valley to cultivate a new educational model that provides training for students while preparing them for life beyond the classroom.
Adult Day Services (ADS) help a person build connections in their community.
Through ADS, our TAC team members engage in a wide variety of activities, day trips, and events that support self-advocacy and skill development – reinforcing their sense of purpose and independence.
Whether it’s through vocational habilitation within our facility or through community employment, TAC team members learn effective work habits, behaviors and skills in a supportive work environment.
TAC provides local transportation services with our fleet of vehicles – driven by a team of compassionate and friendly drivers who help to start and end the day with a smile.
