The People Strengthening America’s Supply Chain
For Mark, knowing his work supports the U.S. military is what makes each day meaningful. “It feels good knowing you had a part in putting together something for our service members,” he said.
Every cargo net he helps build plays a role in supporting military missions around the world. While the work happens in Ohio, the impact reaches far beyond the production floor. For Mark, that's something to be proud of.
Supporting Those Who Serve
When asked what makes his job important, Mark's answer was simple. “It’s all for the military,” he said. “Making something they need.”
That purpose motivates him every day. He knows the products he helps create are used by the men and women who serve our country, and that responsibility gives his work added meaning.
Proudly Made in America
Mark also appreciates that the work is done here in the United States. “Being 100% made in the U.S. is something to be proud of,” he said.
Producing the cargo nets domestically helps strengthen America's manufacturing base while ensuring the military receives high-quality equipment made by dedicated American workers.
Pride in the Work
When asked what part of the job he's most proud of, Mark didn't overcomplicate his answer. “Working on the nets.” For him, every task contributes to the finished product, and every finished net represents the teamwork and dedication of the people who built it.
Learning New Skills
Working at TAC has helped Mark continue to grow. “I've learned a lot of different skills here,” he said.
Those new skills have helped him build confidence while giving him the opportunity to take on meaningful work that makes a difference.
Doing Work He Enjoys
When asked what his work means to him in one sentence, Mark's answer captured what makes a meaningful career so important. “It means I can work and do a job that I want and that I like.”
That simple statement reflects the heart of TAC's mission: creating opportunities for people to use their talents, contribute to something bigger than themselves, and take pride in the work they do.
For Mark, every cargo net represents more than a product. It represents purpose, opportunity, and the satisfaction of knowing his work helps support the men and women who serve our country.
