The People Strengthening America’s Supply Chain
For Josiah, one of the best parts of his job is knowing the work he does has a real purpose. When asked how it feels knowing his work supports military missions, his answer was simple: "It's cool."
Even with just a few words, it's clear that Josiah understands the importance of the work happening around him. Every cargo net his team helps produce supports the U.S. Air Force and the service members who depend on reliable equipment to complete their missions.
Building Here at Home
Josiah also believes it's important that this work is done in the United States. "It's creating more jobs in the U.S.," he said. Every cargo net built here strengthens American manufacturing while creating meaningful employment opportunities for people in the local community. For Josiah, that's another reason to be proud of the work he does each day.
Pride in Every Part of the Job
When asked what part of his work he's most proud of, Josiah didn't single out one task. "All of it."
Whether he's contributing to production, supporting his teammates, or helping move the work forward, Josiah takes pride in being part of the entire process. Every role matters, and every person plays an important part in producing equipment the military can depend on.
Learning from Others
Working at TAC has also helped Josiah grow in ways that extend beyond the production floor.
"It's helped me learn how to work differently with people of all abilities," he said.
That experience has shown him the value of teamwork and the strengths that each person brings to the job. By learning from one another and working together, the team is able to accomplish something much bigger than any one individual could do alone.
Doing Something That Matters
When asked what his work means to him in one sentence, Josiah's answer captured the heart of his experience. "It means that I'm doing something important."
Those words reflect not only the impact of the work itself, but also the pride that comes from contributing to a mission larger than yourself.
Every day, Josiah helps build equipment that supports the men and women who serve our country. At the same time, he's helping strengthen American manufacturing, creating opportunity, and proving that meaningful work can make a difference - for individuals, for communities, and for the nation.
