The People Strengthening America’s Supply Chain
For Gabriel, working on cargo nets used by the U.S. Air Force is something he truly enjoys. “This job means a lot to me,” he said. “I love working at TAC and working on stuff for the Air Force.”
Every day, Gabriel comes to work knowing the products he helps make will support the men and women who serve our country. That gives him a strong sense of purpose. “The way I see it,” he said, “I want to support the Air Force to the best of my ability, and right now, that's by making cargo nets.”
Part of Something Bigger
One thing Gabriel thinks many people don't realize is just how often they may have already seen the products his team makes. “When you see any net on TV, YouTube, wherever... we made that.”
It's a reminder that the work happening inside the facility reaches far beyond Ohio. The cargo nets produced by Gabriel and his teammates help transport equipment around the world and support important military missions every day.
Doing the Job Right
Gabriel believes quality starts with paying attention to every detail.
“You have to really pay attention,” he said. “If it's a good sew, I'm really proud of that.” He understands that every stitch matters because someone will eventually depend on the finished product.
“If I gave the Air Force a net that I messed up, they couldn't use it,” Gabriel explained. “I want to give the Air Force the best net I can.” That commitment to quality is something he carries with him every day, knowing that careful work helps ensure the equipment performs the way it's supposed to.
Growing with the Support of Others
Working at TAC has helped Gabriel grow not only as an employee, but as a person.
“TAC is very inspiring,” he said. “My coworkers, bosses, the maintenance staff - everyone helps build you up and supports you through the ups and the downs.” Having people who encourage one another has helped Gabriel continue learning new skills while building confidence in himself.
A Team That Works Together
Gabriel enjoys being part of a team where everyone shares the same goal.
“Everyone likes to move quickly, and everyone helps each other, even at the last minute.” That willingness to jump in and support one another helps keep production moving while creating a workplace where everyone feels like they're part of the mission.
A Job Well Done
When asked what his work means to him, Gabriel's answer captured the satisfaction he feels at the end of each day. “I like to work, to get things done, then put a smile on my face, knowing that I did the job well.”
For Gabriel, that's what meaningful work is all about, doing your best, supporting your teammates, and taking pride in knowing your work helps the people who serve our country.
His story is another reminder that behind every cargo net is a dedicated person whose work, care, and commitment help strengthen America's supply chain and support military missions around the world.
