The People Strengthening America’s Supply Chain
For Daniel, the work he does each day carries real meaning. “It feels really good,” he said. “The work that we’re doing is essential.” As part of the team producing cargo nets used by the United States Air Force, Daniel knows that every task contributes to something much larger than himself. Knowing the products his team creates help support military missions gives him a strong sense of purpose. “Knowing that I have a part in something that supports the military makes me feel really good,” he shared.
Proudly Made in America
Daniel believes it’s important that this work happens here at home. "We’re producing something for the U.S. military,” he said. “It makes sense for it to be American made.”
Being part of a domestic manufacturing operation that supports national defense is something he takes seriously. For Daniel, there’s pride in knowing the products are built here in the United States by people who care deeply about the work.
More Complex Than People Realize
One thing Daniel thinks people would be surprised to learn is just how much goes into making each cargo net. “There are so many steps,” he explained. “It’s really involved.”
From cutting straps and hand fabrication to sewing and quality assurance testing, every net moves through a detailed process before it’s complete. That process helps ensure every product meets the high standards required before it leaves the facility.
Showing Up and Doing the Work
When asked what part of his work he’s most proud of, Daniel’s answer was simple but meaningful: “Showing up every day.”
That consistency and commitment are an important part of the team’s success. Every role matters, and every person contributes to keeping production moving forward.
A Commitment to Quality
For Daniel, quality is one of the most important parts of the job. “Quality is key,” he said. “If you don’t produce a quality product, that will come back on you.” That mindset drives the focus and care he brings to his work every day.
“You have to really focus on every detail,” he explained. “I don’t like putting out something that isn’t done right.” In a manufacturing environment supporting the military, precision matters, and Daniel understands the responsibility that comes with that.
Growing Through Opportunity
Working at TAC has also helped Daniel grow personally. “It’s helped me be more open-minded,” he said. “You have to look at all the opportunities there are and the potential to grow.”
That perspective has helped him continue developing both professionally and personally while building confidence in his abilities.
A Culture Built on Pride
What stands out most to Daniel about the workplace is the shared commitment across the team. “Everybody focuses on attention to detail,” he said. “They’re proud of what they do, and everyone cares about quality.”
That culture of pride and accountability creates an environment where people support each other and work together toward a common goal.
Part of Something Bigger
At the end of the day, Daniel takes pride in knowing his work has an impact far beyond the walls of the TAC. “I feel good at the end of the day because I’m helping other people and my country,” he said. “Something we all had a hand in goes all over the world, and that’s really cool.”
His story is a reminder that behind every mission are dedicated people whose work, pride, and attention to detail help make it possible.
