Mallory is passionate about helping people discover what's possible. As the instructor for TAC's Works4Me program, she teaches work skills classes to individuals from TAC and surrounding communities, giving them the confidence and tools they need to pursue employment and achieve their goals.
We sat down with Mallory to learn more about her role, what inspires her, and why empowering others is at the heart of everything she does.
How would you describe your role at TAC?
“I teach work skills classes through Works4Me to individuals at TAC and from the surrounding area. My goal is to help people build the skills and confidence they need to find jobs in the community and follow their dreams.”
What part of TAC's mission connects with you the most?
“Empowering people to reach their full potential.”
What's your favorite part of your job?
“Helping people build the confidence to do what they've always wanted to do. I also love knowing that I'm making a positive impact and being a support for people who need it.”
What's the most rewarding part of your job?
“Encouraging people to explore opportunities they may not have considered before. Watching them realize they can accomplish whatever they put their minds to is an incredible experience.”
What are you most proud of in your career so far?
“Seeing so many people graduate from Works4Me, actively search for jobs, and successfully find employment. I'm so proud of everything they've accomplished.”
Where do you think you have the biggest impact in your role?
“By giving individuals the tools and skills they need to build independence and find meaningful employment in the community.”
What do you think is the most important quality someone needs to be successful?
“Patience. No matter who you're working with, patience goes a long way and can make all the difference.”
What are you most proud of in your personal life?
“Being a mom. My two kids are by far my greatest accomplishment. They're amazing little humans.”
