This week, Meet Jennifer!
Jennifer is a Dispatcher for RidesPlus. She works with Ohio Jobs and Family Services to help transport individuals from point A to point B in a timely manner. Jennifer maintains the scheduling for all of the rides for our RidesPlus department.
What part of our mission do you connect with?
Everyone here has a heart for what they do. If someone is trying, I want to help them even if that means going out of my way to help find a solution.
What is your favorite part of the job?
The team I work with has this mentality of service and compassion. The individuals we serve are always happy and always smiling. It makes you happy to come in every day.
What do you think is the most important quality someone needs to be successful?
You have to have a positive attitude.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
To be calm and have patience.Â
If you had any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to water all of my plants instantly.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
To go skydiving!
What are you most proud of in your personal life?
My family. I've been married for 21 years to my husband and have two kids.
