Behind the Scenes of TAC: Meet Ginger!
At TAC, we believe that our greatest asset is not just the products or services we offer, but the incredible individuals who form the heart and soul of our organization. Our employees are the driving force behind our success and their talents, stories, and contributions shape the culture that defines us.
In this spirit, we are excited to launch our Meet the Team series and showcase the exceptional people who make TAC what it is. Join us each week on this exciting journey as we shine a spotlight on the people whose dedication, passion, and expertise embody the essence of our company.

Throughout her time at TAC, Ginger has worn many hats, all centered around helping individuals build skills, confidence, and greater independence. Today, she serves as a Group Coach at TAC’s 2130 facility, where she supports nine individuals as they fabricate straps used in our U.S. Air Force cargo nets while developing skills that can prepare them for future community employment.
We sat down with Ginger to learn more about her journey at TAC, what makes her proud, and what she has learned from the individuals she supports.
How would you describe your role at TAC?
“I’m currently a Group Coach at 2130, where I oversee and train nine individuals. They learn how to fabricate the straps that support our cargo nets while also gaining a better understanding of what employment in the community can look like.”
You've held several roles during your time at TAC. What has that experience looked like?
“I’ve definitely worn a few different hats! I spent two and a half years as a DSP, another two and a half years as an OOD Job Coach, and I’ve also driven bus routes for our Transportation Department.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
“Witnessing the individuals’ skills, knowledge, confidence, and self-esteem grow each time they work.”
What are you most proud of in your career so far?
“I’m especially proud when someone I’ve coached finds community employment and takes that next step. It’s also rewarding to walk into a business and see someone I previously coached still successfully employed there.”
What’s one of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?
“Don’t judge a book by its cover. Abilities come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and forms.”
From direct support and job coaching to transportation and Group Employment, Ginger’s experience has allowed her to support individuals at many different points along their journey. For her, success is seeing someone gain confidence in their abilities, develop new skills, and ultimately take those skills into the community.
Each individual who moves into community employment, or continues succeeding in a job years later, is a reminder of the lasting impact that encouragement, training, and opportunity can have.
The varied talents and unique perspectives showcased throughout this series are a testament to the strength of our TAC family. Our collective journey is fueled by the passion and dedication to our mission, along with the collaborative spirit of each team member. Stay tuned for more glimpses into the amazing people who contribute to our success at TAC. Thank you for joining us on this journey, as we celebrate the exceptional team that makes our company truly extraordinary.
