The People Strengthening America’s Supply Chain
For Tina, supporting the mission of the U.S. Air Force is something she takes great pride in. “I have family members who have served in the military,” she said. “It makes me really proud to work for a company that supports the American military.”
That family connection makes her work especially meaningful. Every cargo net she helps produce represents another way she can support the men and women who serve our country.
Knowing that her work contributes to real military missions is something she doesn't take for granted. “It feels wonderful,” Tina said. “I feel blessed to do what I do.”
The work gives her a sense of purpose because she knows the products her team creates help service members safely transport the equipment they need to carry out their missions. “Our nets help ensure the service men and women can do their jobs safely,” she explained.
Tina is also proud that the work happens right here in the United States. “Our nets are now 100% American made,” she said. “That's really something to be proud of. Not a lot of people can say that.” For her, manufacturing these products at home strengthens the country while supporting American workers and the military at the same time.
When asked what part of her job she's most proud of, Tina's answer focused on people. “Helping others,” she said. “Both my teammates and the service members who use the nets.” Whether she's supporting a coworker on the production floor or helping ensure a finished product is ready for use, Tina believes everyone succeeds by working together.
Quality is another responsibility she takes seriously. “Everything,” she said when asked what quality means in her job. “These nets have to be perfect. They have to meet the high standards of the military.” She knows every detail matters because the people using the equipment depend on it to perform safely and reliably.
Working at TAC has also helped Tina grow. “It’s helped me grow a lot,” she said. “TAC works with me on any struggles.” Having a workplace that provides encouragement and support has allowed her to continue building confidence while developing new skills along the way.
When asked what her work means to her in one sentence, Tina summed it up perfectly. “It’s everything I mentioned above - the pride, the teamwork... everything.”
Her story reflects what Faces of the Mission is all about: people who take pride in their work, support one another, and understand that what they do each day helps strengthen America's supply chain while supporting the men and women who serve our country.
