Cathy plays a key role at TAC, currently overseeing the Vocational Habilitation, Xplore, and Fresh Abilities departments. Through her guidance and support, she helps ensure individuals receive the services they need to move forward on their individual paths.
We sat down with Cathy to learn more about what motivates her and what she finds most meaningful in her work.
How would you describe your role at TAC?
“I oversee the VocHab, Xplore, and Fresh Abilities departments. It’s been a great pleasure ensuring participants receive the supports they need to move along their path.”
What part of TAC’s mission connects with you most?
“Empowering people to reach their full potential.”
What’s your favorite part of working at TAC?
“Having a positive impact on someone’s day.”
What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding?
“Assisting someone in overcoming a barrier or learning a new skill.”
What are you most proud of in your career so far?
“Watching individuals move on to the next chapter.”
Where do you think you can have the biggest impact in your role?
“By setting a good example and being a role model.”
What’s one thing you feel you need most to be successful in your role?
“Flexibility for sure.”
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
“World peace, perfect health, and to retire somewhere warm.”
What are you most proud of in your personal life?
“My family.”
